Welcome to the Chair of Applied and Numerical Analysis

Reseach of the chair is concerned with current problems from Numerical and Applied Mathematics, as well as Scientific Computing. It comprises the modelling and analysis of problems coming from engineering, the physical and life sciences and finance. The interests of the chair range from the mathematical analysis of mathematical models to their computer implementations, passing through the development and analysis of new numerical methods.
